Rain, rain and more rain!

It's been raining on and off all week here and Zoe has been so patient the entire time.  We haven't been to the dog park at all this week, so yesterday after the rain finally stopped I took her for a nice long walk.

The field I usually take her to was flooded, but this pretty much made it like Disney Land for Zoe.

She even got to do some bird watching \ chasing.  I just love watching her in action and letting her enjoy being a dog.

We're expecting more rain over the weekend and as I'm typing this I can hear thunder outside.  But, I'm ok with that because it's about 20 degrees cooler, and I don't mind playing in the rain with my dog from time to time.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Sometimes, gloom can be quite a blessing.

Come on, Zoe! LOL. Get out of the water.

Happy Week-end, Zoe & Ali ! Sometimes it's fun to get soaked by the rain. We're having a drought where I live. Have fun !

I was hoping for rain here this weekend but the forecast changed and now it's even hotter and more humid. I bet Zoe had lots of fun in that flooded field! We'd love to have some cooling rain! :)

Hi, I'm Alison and I have an 1 year old black lab mix named Zoe. She was found wandering around by herself near a highway at just 5 weeks old. While her story begins sad, she has had nothing short of a spoiled, happy and healthy life since coming home with me and my boyfriend.
