Monday mischief

Yesterday at the Dog Park, Zoe met a pup that could almost pass as her doppelganger.  The puppy took a liking to Zoe right away and followed her around everywhere.

Sadly, Zoe wanted nothing to do with her and even barked at her when she would get near her ball.  Had she met her in our Apartment Complex she would have begged to play with her, but at the dog park she only cares about one thing.  Fetching HER ball.

Sometimes I really miss the days when she would make her rounds all over the park looking for a friend to wrestle with.  Maybe she is just too content with the friends she has at home?

Gosh, I thought I was seeing double!! Obviously Zoe is pretty content to play by herself!

Keep your eye on the ball at all times Zoe.
It looks like your at MBBP. I thought it would still be under water. Or maybe the area didn't get 8 inches of rain like the sw area?

It was flooded on Saturday but most of it dried up by Sunday morning. There were a lot of puddles and Zoe even slipped once running after her ball.

aw, lovely to see pups running and playing - looks like they had fun!

Awww. I bet the doppleganger thought Zoe was his/her long lost twin sister.

I can understand how Zoe just wants to play ball. It's a wide patch of grass, who wouldn't want to enjoy running around chasing after a ball?

Alison....
I am going to agree with Bassetmomma. She said it first!! "Obviously Zoe is pretty content to play by herself!" And, you know what? There is nothing wrong with that!! ;op
Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

Welcome

Hi, I'm Alison and I have an 1 year old black lab mix named Zoe. She was found wandering around by herself near a highway at just 5 weeks old. While her story begins sad, she has had nothing short of a spoiled, happy and healthy life since coming home with me and my boyfriend.
