You can't keep a good dog down

A little fog did not stop us from going on our morning walk.  It has been raining non stop all weekend and Zoe needed some outdoor playtime badly.  Rain and fog be damned, we had fun.

Zoe is always eager to leap in the water after her ball.

I was a little worried that she would go too far and I wouldn't be able to see her through all the fog, but she stayed close to me the whole time.

What a brown noser!!!

Time to clean off all that mud.  One of the many pros of having a dog that loves to swim.

Happy Monday friends!  Try not to work too hard today. :)

Perfect day at Katy City Dog Park

This evening Daniel and I took Zoe to the Katy Dog Park.  While there is only one small lake, there are lots of trees and a plethora of squirrels for Zoe to chase.  There's also no cracks in the ground and it doesn't flood.

Zoe is on the hunt for more squirrels.  Lets just hope she never catches one.

This evening was really quite beautiful and Zoe had a ton of energy, so going to the park was very necessary. I've yet to meet an aggressive dog at this park as well.  While I do still love Millie Bush Bark Park, I will probably be going to this park a lot more.

She always manages to find the biggest sticks.  She also likes to tease other dogs with her findings "na na na na look what I got.  Come get me!"

"Tug-a-war is the funnest game ever!"

She was leaping higher than usual today.  I'm glad I was able to get a few good shots of it on my camera phone.

Tomorrow we are off to the beach.  Zoe hasn't been since she was 5 months old so I'm hoping now that she is trained, she can run off leash and just be a happy pup.  We shall see.

Welcome

Hi, I'm Alison and I have an 1 year old black lab mix named Zoe. She was found wandering around by herself near a highway at just 5 weeks old. While her story begins sad, she has had nothing short of a spoiled, happy and healthy life since coming home with me and my boyfriend.
